Follow everything below step by step from beginning to end
KC will have exactly what is necessary for your Mixing & Mastering
*If you are not familiar with some of the technical aspects of the file delivery, please do a Google search of your DAW and the specification you are not familiar with; you will probably find a nice and easy answer. You may reach out to KC with questions regarding the specs, but some preliminary searching before will more than likely lead to your answer without having to spend time communicating.
File format: .Wav or .Aiff
Sample rate: Keep it at the source sample rate (44.1 - 192kHz)
Bit Rate: 24 bits or higher
1. Remove all the inserts from the masterbus. If you have compression or saturation on the master bus that you really like, please send a version with that as well.
2. Make sure that the track level doesn’t peak above -6dBFS TP.
3. During export, make sure that normalisation is turned off.
4. If you’ve mastered the track as well, feel free to submit it in the package as a reference.
5. ZIP or RAR the files and email them to Contact@kconthemix.com
KC will make sure to check the files when they arrive and let you know if everything is okay. It could happen that, while processing, we discover something for which we need a different file. KC always contact you to discuss this.
